Amity Lumper

Amity celebrated her 25th anniversary with Cascadia in 2025 and serves as the company’s co-president, leading strategic business development and project teams to deliver their best for the planet and community. Amity draws energy from making meaningful connections and facilitating collaboration among diverse groups to advance shared goals. She brings nearly 30 years of technical experience in waste reduction, recycling, and circularity. Amity has worked alongside a variety of clients in the public, private, and NGO sectors to better understand waste and material quantities, flows, behaviors, infrastructure, and opportunities. She has helped design, implement, and evaluate programs and policies for cities, corporations, institutions, and waste service providers across North America. When she’s not strategizing in team meetings, reading industry news, or thinking of innovative solutions and partnerships to reduce waste, she is gardening, jogging, biking, swimming, or sledding in the beautiful PacNW with her husband and son.
