Ayo Arowosegbe

Ayo joined Cascadia in 2024 to support Cascadia’s circular economy and sustainable materials management projects and programs, using research, analysis, and engagement expertise to drive progress toward sustainability. In the past five years before joining Cascadia, Ayo has been dedicated to planning and promoting circular economy initiatives, focusing on waste diversion, recycling, and community outreach on waste and sustainability. He is a proud alum of the EarthCorps international program and the Master Composter Sustainability Steward Program in Seattle. Originally from Nigeria, Ayo founded a nonprofit that advances effective environmental sustainability, public health, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals in communities across Southwest Nigeria. He recently earned a Master’s in Environmental Sustainability from Indiana University and holds a TRUE Advisor certification. In his free time, Ayo enjoys playing African drums, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
