My name is Camila Olivier (she/her), born and raised in Oakland CA. In high school, I started a club called C.U.Ps (cleaning up parks), where I focused on wanting to make cleaning our community fun by incorporating games. It’s lovely to continue this theme with Cascadia. During this time, I also volunteered at animal shelters, cleaning kennels, training, and socializing the dogs and cats. I graduated from UCSC with a degree in Sociology and then worked as a receptionist and paralegal at two law firms. Throughout my schooling, I did some bartending and waited tables, which fueled my passion for cooking. I love cooking for family and friends, and hosting lots of dinner parties. My freezer is now full of broths, sauces, breads, and chili peppers, making cooking a full-time hobby. I also love to sew and crochet. I’m not the best at it but I’ve made a lot of fun collars for my cat, Percy.
