Celine Fujikawa

Celine joined Cascadia in the fall of 2022 with over 6 years of experience in sustainability and racial equity, supporting climate and equity projects. She works at the nexus of environmental justice and climate adaptation, conducting vulnerability and risk assessments to inform equitable climate strategies in Washington and California. Celine leads equitable stakeholder and public engagement efforts, ensuring that historically marginalized communities are meaningfully involved in decision-making processes. Prior to Cascadia, she was a Sustainability Analyst for the Seattle Housing Authority, where she facilitated the development of equitable, community-supported conservation and environmental stewardship projects.  Celine holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies with a Minor in Environmental Health from the University of Washington. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her sassy corgi pup and hunting for the best French fries in the Bay Area.
