Christian Bennett

Christian brings a wide range of experience in community engagement and GIS mapping. In the past 7 years before joining Cascadia, Christian has managed environmental-related projects and programming in the non-profit sector in Ohio for brownfield remediation projects and healthy food access programming. Throughout the Puget Sound, she has supported community engagement efforts for clientele in the public sector for zero-emission, comprehensive solid waste management and environmental capital investment projects. Additionally, she is skilled in canvassing, facilitating, and promoting open houses and building relationships with CBOs, housing managers, and local businesses to help improve the quality of life of underserved communities. She also brings unique experience in overlapping community engagement with GIS mapping, along with demographic, quantitative, and qualitative analysis to enhance research and reporting accuracy and effectiveness. Christian holds a B.S. in Geography from Youngstown State University and a GIS Certificate from the University of Washington Tacoma. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, connecting with friends, and painting.
