Kirstin Hervin

Since 2013, Kirstin has been getting down and dirty with waste data collection and analyses to measure real world conditions and upcycles yesterday’s datasets into models and tools to forecast generation and diversion impacts. She excels at developing intuitive accessible tools and calculators for our clients. (Because playing with numbers should be fun!) Kirstin is also proud of her work over the years to move Cascadia’s waste studies and outreach efforts to online formats. (No one actually liked keeping track of all those papers.) When not planning her next study or building out a spreadsheet, Kirstin is reducing food waste cooking with her family and savoring the natural beauty of the Puget Sound Region.
