Nicole Gutierrez

Nicole leads strategic planning efforts related to climate and natural resource management initiatives, providing expertise to guide groups toward productive planning and policy development outcomes. Nicole is passionate about capacity building with organizations and communities by developing and strengthening the processes they need to be successful and achieve their goals. She recently has managed and supported climate elements for the cities of Auburn, Kenmore, Renton, Federal Way, East Wenatchee, Walla Walla, and Woodinville and counties including San Juan County, Thurston County, and Skagit County. Nicole brings experience managing diverse and complex water resource projects in which she engaged with policymakers and practitioners to come to solutions related to water quantity issues in Washington state. When not working on climate policy, Nicole can be found on a local trail with her beloved pup taking in the views or working on the next home improvement task on the list.
