Sara Lucero

Sara joined Cascadia in 2024 to support research and analysis projects, including waste characterization studies, generator sampling, and other complex field research activities. Sara is a University of Washington graduate, with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering, focused on hydrodynamics and wastewater treatment. She has two years of experience working as a project manager for the Port of Seattle, overseeing infrastructure projects. Prior to that, she worked at a consulting firm conducting culvert fieldwork, sewer sampling, and designing roadway drainage. In addition to her professional career, Sara tutors students with ADHD and other learning disabilities in math and science. In her free time, she is a “jack of all hobbies, master of none” currently focused on sewing, K-pop, and Baldur’s Gate 3.
