Sylvia Juarez

Sylvia joined Cascadia in 2022 with 15 years of experience and currently leads Cascadia’s corporate team as Director of Corporate and People Operations. Prior to joining Cascadia, Sylvia worked for Seattle Colleges, where she advised and provided leadership to executive leadership and middle management regarding conflict resolution and navigating collective bargaining agreements; developed Inclusion Advocate Training materials and facilitated training to support diversity efforts in recruitment processes; managed full-cycle recruitments for District Office, and led changes and updates to performance management systems as well as developed training materials for employees and supervisors. Prior to working with Seattle Colleges, Sylvia worked for the City of Covina as a Senior Human Resources Analyst, for Alameda County as a Human Resources Analyst II, and for the City of Colton in a variety of HR roles. Sylvia is a graduate from California State University, San Bernardino with a B.A. in Business Administration and Management/HR Specialty, and a graduate from California State University, East Bay with a Master’s in Public Administration with an emphasis on Public Policy.
