Alyssa Rodriguez

Alyssa leads and specializes in community engagement for climate, planning, and resilience focused topics and projects. She brings valuable, cross-cutting skills in project management, outreach and education, communications, facilitation, graphic design, climate action plans, policy development and community capacity building. During her time at Cascadia, Alyssa has worked on a wide variety of projects from transportation capital improvements to resilience hubs. A common thread across all of Alyssa’s projects is her dedication to community, and ensuring that those who are most impacted by a changing climate are also the voices leading and driving solutions. Before joining Cascadia, Alyssa worked with non-profits and environmental consultants in Bellingham, WA where she promoted local food systems and provided recycling contamination education and outreach. Alyssa attended Western Washington University and graduated with a B.A. in Business and Sustainability and a minor in Economics. When not at work, you can find Alyssa surfing, travelling, and hanging out with her pup Mickey.
