Sarah Schu

Sarah joined Cascadia in 2021 to support community engagement with project management, strategic communications planning, visual design, journalistic storytelling, and field photography. Her role at Cascadia focuses on working across government and community systems to develop and implement sustainable, equitable food waste prevention and hunger relief solutions. Before joining Cascadia, Sarah worked as a Marketing and Development Director for Neighborhood Farmers Markets Alliance in Seattle. For nearly a decade, Sarah has also worked as founder and principal photographer for Schuter Photography, leading photography projects on five continents with clientele ranging from small businesses to the world’s top architectural firms. Sarah is a graduate from Temple University, with a B.A. in Photojournalism from the Klein College of Media and Communications.
